So it’s officially been a year. When PopJam closed down I didn’t know what to expect, and all things considered, it’s gone pretty well. Our community is still going strong, despite the issues we had when PopJam was still open, it’s quite remarkable how many of us remain in contact. I want to thank not only the PopJam community for sticking together, but also the SU community for welcoming us (or tolerating us at the very least). Like many others, I have struggled with staying motivated in the past year, and I know I haven’t posted as often as I did once on PopJam, but I also realised how much my art has improved since I posted sometimes several times a day on PopJam, and I’ve come to accept that my drawings will take more time now. I’ve put the majority of my drawings from the past year into this post to help me reflect on this. Thank you for not giving up on me, let’s face this next year with all we’ve got.
