Thanos simonattoi (November 20, 2018).

Thanos simonattoi is a late Cretaceous abelisaurid that roamed the São José do Rio Preto Formation of Brazil approximately 85 million years ago. Its genus name refers to the Marval character Thanos, while the specific name honors Simonatto. Thanos simonattoi is estimated to have grown up to 20 feet in length, and is known from its nearly complete axis (vertebral neck bone).
